Dumdum Aditya Educational Society
Dumdum Aditya Educational Society successfully runs 3 campuses and many junior schools across the city of Kolkata, West Bengal.
It comprises of two secondary schools,one of which is our flagship campus in Barasat. We have Aditya Academy, and Aditya School of Sports, with separate hostel facilities available for both boys and girls.
We now have over eight thousand students, a figure that is consistently increasing. We believe in offering a comprehensive education and an opportunity to excel in sports.
Aditya Academy understands that both academics and sport are extremely important to a child’s development and also to define their future.
We are extremely proud of the exam results of our students this year. A total of 81 students scored 90%+ in this year’s Class X examination and this is quite commendable when compared to other English medium schools’ in Bengal.
DumDum Aditya Educational Society boasts of sporting facilities that are second to none throughout all schools in India. We have Bengal’s only privately owned cricket stadium at the Barasat Campus which is the same size as the famous Eden Gardens, full-size basketball courts according to NBA standards and football grounds that make you feel like you’re playing in Premiership!
Furthermore, we also have a tie up with the Cricket Association of Bengal and ATK, the Indian junior shooting sports athlete Mehuli Ghosh, and former Olympian and Commonwealth Games gold medalist Joydeep Karmakar regularly interacts with our students.
All this ensures that we can offer our students the best facilities and they can be mentored by the legends of the sports.
With our motto of “We Welcome Everyone with Open Arms” it shows that we are achieving these results without cherry-picking only the quickest minds.
This is a huge credit to our teaching faculty. Aditya Educational Society was founded and funded by the late Mr. Bhaskar Aditya, and after his unfortunate demise, the reins are now in the hands of his worthy sons, Mr. Anirban Aditya and Mr. Ankit Aditya.
Anirban and Ankit are determined to continue with their father’s legacy and dream to “offer quality education at an affordable cost to all”.
With this in mind, the students of Aditya Society are very fortunate to have access to the best facilities available but their parents benefit from the modest school fees. This is due to the ongoing generosity of the Aditya family.
